Sam Adams Hockey League 2019/20 Rules

SAHL TEAM RULES 2019/20
- Teams will have one designated Captain and point of contact for season
- Teams may consist of up to 20 players, which will include (1) goalie
- Captains must submit rosters two full weeks in advance of first game with following information: Each Player Name, Jersey Number for Season, Updated USA Hockey Number, DOB (no one under 18 can play) on the PAHA REGISTRATION PAGE
- Players are responsible for paying their player fee of $250 per season, the deadline for this is the second week of each regular season. Payments must be made in full at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena
- ALL Players must have the following information submitted to their captains before playing in any PAHA Division: Name, Email, Address, Valid USA Hockey Number, Jersey Number they will wear during season.
- FIGHTING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED/THROWING PUNCHES OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED (It will result in season ban with player reevaluation at end of season)
- Full equipment must be worn (shoulder pads optional, cages and visors optional)
- Major Penalties and penalties that are deemed unsafe will be reviewed by officials and Hockey Director to evaluate if further action needs to be taken
- Roster will freeze 30 days after first game of regular season. No players will be added to rosters after 30 day roster freeze
- NEW PLAYERS that have never played in SAHL before can be added after the roster freeze, this will help us grow the game.
- Bronze Teams can not have any silver caliber player, Silver Teams can roster two Gold caliber player, there will be no players that play Gold that are Silver caliber players.
- Player fee is $350 per player, per league (If you play in two divisions you must pay two fees)
- Extraordinary circumstance situations will require a unanimous captain’s vote for approval
- PLAYER VALIDATION STICKERS MUST BE PLACED ON EACH HELMET FOR EACH LEAGUE, a player will recieve their validation sticker once payment is made in full for current season
